Faculty Fellow, Office of Faculty Success — Call for Applications 2026–2027

The Missouri S&T Faculty Success Program invites applications for a Faculty Fellow position for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The Faculty Fellow will join the Faculty Success Leadership Team, which aims to improve the workplace environment for all faculty by promoting policies and practices grounded in fairness and based on merit. The team meets bi-weekly to provide guidance and support for initiatives aimed at strengthening campus climate and advancing faculty success across the university. In this role, the Fellow will have meaningful opportunities to lead and contribute to a range of programs, including mentorship training, equitable workload policy development, faculty recruitment practices, department-level policy support, and leadership development workshops. Compensation

The Faculty Fellow will receive one course release (or equivalent in faculty support funds) and a $7,000 stipend for the term of the appointment.

 

Eligibility and Term

The position runs from August 1, 2026 through May 31, 2027. All tenure-track and non-tenure-track faculty at the associate- or full-professor rank are eligible to apply. We welcome applicants from all disciplines.

  • A very brief letter of support from your department chair (or relevant supervisor)

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed by the Faculty Success Leadership Team, and the selected Fellow will be notified in early June.
